Father Photographs The Bizarre World of His Autistic Son
Timothy Archibald, a San Francisco-based photographer started
photographing his autistic son Elijah at age 5, as a way to find young boy's
diagnosis. Archibald notice that his son behavior is totally different from
other children of the same age, so he felt the need to document the bizarre and
strange world of his son into a portrait project called ‘Echolilia.’
The portraits demonstrate socially withdrawn life of Elijah
and his interaction with objects reveals a different perspective. The project Echolilia
is turned into book and now available to purchase from Archibald's website.
