Ukraine Girl Leading on the Frontline against Russian Invasion

It was not so long ago when Pro-Russian separatist movement started in eastern Ukraine and hundreds of women joined the armed struggle. Since then women in Ukraine pushing hard for equal rights in the military and now they have proved it with their resistance against Russian invasion started on 24 February 2022.

According to a recent news women make up around 15 percent of the soldiers fighting Russian invasion. They have been on a various combat positions including combat medics, snipers and soldiers. The electronic media and internet have taken by storm with the videos and pictures of Ukrainian girl and women of all age posing in military uniform as well as leading on the frontline.

Miss Ukraine Fighting against Russia

As Ukraine currently in a very difficult situation, their army is trying to recruit more people to defend their country. Some of the patriots are voluntarily joining armed forces. A former Miss Ukraine  Anastasiia Lenna posted few picture on Instagram in military gear while holding an assault rifle. Most of her follower believe that she may have joined the army. However Ukrainian beauty queen has clarified in her post on Instagram that she is “just a normal human” and that her pictures are to inspire people and show how strong, confident, and powerful the women of Ukraine are.

Furthermore, she posted on her Instagram "Everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed!" Ukrainian public as well their celebrities are ready to fight and defend their homeland.
