Striking Hand-Build Animal Sculptures by Beth Cavener Stichter

These striking ceramic animal sculptures are created by Washington-based artist Beth Cavener Stichter.  The artist uses clay and other materials to hand-build animals that seem to depict both human and animalistic behavior and emotions.

“These figures are simply feral animals suspended in a moment of tension. Beneath the surface, they embody the consequences of human fear, apathy, aggression, and misunderstanding.”

To complete her work Stichter collaborated with various artists including Alessandro Gallo who recently designed traditional Japanese tattoos, Tangled Up in You. Take a look some of her incredible creation below:

Mosaicultures Internationales de Montréal 2013

The International Mosaiculture event, Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal is going to be held in Montréal, Canada. The event is back again after a ten-year absence. Renowned horticulturist-artists from 30 countries will participate in the competition and will display more than 50 creative works at the Botanical Garden from June 22 to September 29, 2013.

Mosaiculture is basically a refined horticultural art of creating living artworks, two or three-dimensional drawings, designs and sculptures from plants by using colorful foliage. Creative Ceramic Sculptures By Johnson Tsang

Hong Kong based artist and sculptor Johnson Tsang specializing in stainless steel sculpture, ceramics and public art works. His sculptures are unbelievably realistic which seem to be caught like photographs. His beautiful sculpture lies in range between abstract and figurative art.  Tsang mixes both objects and human characters together by using special techniques through streams intersect, liquids spill from mugs and crash to the ground. Tsang’s works have been exhibited in various countries including Spain, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong and Switzerland.

Gigantic Flower Sculpture Festival in Netherlands

Netherlands have been consistently ranked as one of the best countries to live in on Earth. Bloemencorso, the annual parade of flowers organized since 1936 in Zundert will not only provide you the best opportunity to enjoy your holidays as well as let you to capture these amazing moments to take back home.

The festival takes place on first Sunday of September every year.  The parade consists of around 20 different floats made from natural flowers, specifically dahlias. According to local people Bloemencorso is totally addictive and you have to wait until next event happens September 1 and 2 of 2013.
