Historic Romanian Glass-Plate Photos Transformed Into Modern Day Fine Art

Costica Acsinte was a famous Romanian war photographer who captured some cute happier photographs on glass plates after WWI. Acsinte was died in 1984. In 2013 Costica Acsinte Archive digitized and preserved her damaged vintage glass plate photos. Australian photographer Jane Long took her collection of old glass plate photographs and updated the stuff by adding color and a bit of Photoshop magic. 26 year old Ukrainian photographer Oleg Oprisco has some incredible abilities to take dream-like portraits of beautiful women in breathtaking landscapes. But the one most surprising thing about Oprisco’s work that makes him stand out from other photographers is that he uses an old $50 film camera to shoot every shot.

Oleg Oprisco doesn’t use any high resolution camera instead like film photography and uses Kiev 6C and Kiev 88 cameras with medium-format film and the final results are just amazing. Take a look!
