Creative Illustrations Depicting New York City on the Surface of Other Planets
Graphic designer and Illustrator Nickolay Lamm partner up
with astrobiologist Marilyn Vogel to create an interesting series of
illustrations showing what New York City would look like if it were on the
surfaces and atmospheres of other planets in our solar system. The images,
created for StorageFront.com with the help of Marilyn Vogel, a former NASA Ames
Research Center employee who provide detail description of each planet to Lamm.
According to Nickolay Lamm the idea to create these mock-up
photographs depicting the Statue of Liberty and New York's skyscrapers came to
his mind while looking at some awe-inspiring photos of Mount Sharp taken by
NASA's Curiosity rover.
