Malissa's Incredible Tiny Hand-Built Home

Based on a 7’ x 20’ foot dual axle utility trailer, the Tiny Tack House is a wonderful example of small-space living. Located in Snohomish, Washington this bungalow-style house is completely hand built by Malissa and her husband Chris Tack - and also nominated for Apartment Therapy's Small Cool 2013 Contest!

Malissa’s 140 square feet wood-clad house provides the comforts of a complete home. The total number of windows in the house is 11 that allow plenty of natural light to come into the house. The wood slat construction give a polished finish look to the entire house. The compact living room features a super-sized flat screen TV. Four solar panels efficiently fulfill the energy requirement of the tiny home. Wool insulation and cedar siding keep it fresh and cool.
