Henrique Oliveira Uses Repurposed Wood To Build His Largest Installation To Date At MAC USP
Brazilian artist Henrique Oliveira has just completed his largest installation to date titled Transarquitetônica, at museum of contemporary art, university of São Paulo. Oliveira uses recycled wood pieces and metal skeleton framework that looks like a large root system where visitors are welcome to enter and experience the artwork.
The result is a strange and colorful work of wood where observer can explore the cavernous interior and imagine they are inside a monolithic sculptural universe. Transarquitetônica will be on display through the end of November 2014 at museum of contemporary art, university of São Paulo.
