World's Tallest Man And Shortest Man Poses For The First Time
To celebrate the 10th annual Guinness World Records Day, the
world's tallest man and the world’s shortest man meet for the first time in London
on Thursday. 31-year-old Sultan Kösen from Turkey stands 8-foot-9 inches (2.51 meters)
is the tallest living man while the 75-year-old Chandra Bahadur Dangi from
Nepal is the world's shortest living man, who measures just 1 foot, 7 inches (55
centimeters).
Kosen works as a farmer in and the Dangi keeps himself busy
making placemats and head straps for villagers. The two meet each other for the
very first time to pose for photos opposite the Houses of Parliament in London.
“Even though he is short and I am tall, we have had similar struggles throughout our lives,” Kosen, told AFP. “And when I look into Chandra’s eyes I can see he is a good man.”
