Anjana Iyer Creatively Illustrated Untranslatable Words From DIfferent Foreign Languages
Renowned media designer from New Zealand, Anjana Iyer has
thoroughly studied different languages from all over the world for a unique
project. Anjana searched those interesting words in foreign languages that have
no direct translation in English language. After picking up those unique words,
she made refined and humorous illustrations to define and explain those words
in illustrated form.
Iyer participated in a website's program, “100 Days Project" which invited artists to post their 100 days artwork. For that purpose she started her illustrated series in the name of “Found in Translation”. Iyer is roughly half-way done with her project, so you can follow up to see her artwork on 100 days-project website.
