Single Dad Went To Beauty School so He Could Learn How To Do His Daughter's Ponytail
Colorado-based dad Greg Wickherst has been living and taking
care of his 3-year-old daughter Izzy after Greg split up with his wife. But he
had no idea when it came to styling and putting his daughter Izzy's hair into a
ponytail. He works as an admissions representative at the IntelliTec College in
Colorado, which luckily has a cosmetology department. So Greg decided to take
some help from the student and within no time he learned all types of fancy
ponytails, buns, and even difficult braids.
Now, Greg is a hair
whiz who is best known as "hair dad" on Facebook where he love to
post pictures of his latest creation which
Izzy loves, too.
“In no time, I was able to do a simple braid, then a fishbone braid, and a French braid. I learned how to do a ponytail, then flip it through itself either under or over, “he told HuffPost.” It blew my mind how easy it was to do a bun.
“My favorite part of the day is when I wake her up and get her out of bed and she’s still sleepy, so she nuzzles her face into my neck.”
