Incredible Three Dimensional Animals Created by Painting on Layers of Resin
Keng Lye, a Singapore-based artist presents near life-like three-dimensional works of art that probably lie somewhere between painting and sculpture. It is a type of technique we have seen before from a Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori. This long process used by Lye involves filling buckets, bowls and boxes with acrylics and epoxy resin to paint aquatic animal that look like swimming in the water.
Keng Lye then photographs each of his remarkable sculpture living and breathing in a bowl of water. You can find more about his creative art on deviantART.
